
Chief Kadh, Sheikh Abdulhalim Hussein has announced Friday, June 6, 2025 as the official day for Muslims across the country to mark Eid-Ul-Ad’ha.
According to the Muslim leader in the country, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed the sighting of the moon on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 setting May 28 as the first day of Dhul Hajj. during this 10-day period, Muslims are required to fast until during Eid-Ul-Ad’ha.
He further stated that Arafah will be on Thursday June, 5, 2025 and Eid-Ul Ad’ha to be marked on Friday, June, 2025.
In the recent past, the celebrations have been marred by controversies, a thing that the Chief Kadh aims to quell.
