Radio personality Esther Mwende Macharia, popularly known as the “Queen of the Airwaves,” has officially joined Radio Jambo, part of the Radio Africa Group.
Mwende, who left Radio Maisha earlier this year after 14 years at the Standard Group-owned station, will now host the “Overnight Show” on Radio Jambo starting Monday, October 6, 2025.
The seasoned presenter has already created a buzz on social media, with her fans eagerly awaiting her comeback.
“Welcome back on air the queen of airwaves,” one fan posted, while another wrote, “It’s a comeback like never before.”
Known for her vibrant personality and youthful energy, Mwende has built a reputation for hosting entertaining shows that resonate strongly with younger audiences.
