Samsung Electronics East Africa has launched its flagship 2025 NEO QLED 100-inch AI TV, marking its boldest step yet in redefining large-screen home entertainment in Kenya.

The launch, held at the Glee Hotel in Nairobi under the tagline “Vision AI is here, The Next Big Thing in Television,” introduced Samsung’s most advanced model, blending cutting-edge display technology with artificial intelligence for a more immersive, adaptive viewing experience.

“Kenya deserves nothing less than the very best in television technology,” said Rahul Kochhar, Business Head, Consumer Electronics Division, Samsung Electronics East Africa. “With Vision AI, we are not just making pictures more vivid or sound more immersive; we are rethinking how TV interacts with the home, how it learns, adapts, and becomes part of daily life.”

The 100-inch NEO QLED AI TV features an expansive cinematic display powered by the NQ AI Processor, which adjusts picture and sound depending on the room and content type. Other highlights include Quantum Matrix Mini LED technology for deeper contrast, 4K UHD resolution with AI upscaling, and Dolby Atmos with Object Tracking Sound (OTS) for three-dimensional audio.

The television also comes with Samsung’s Vision AI Smart Hub, offering unified access to streaming apps, cloud gaming, live TV, and smart home controls, as well as the Samsung Gaming Hub with support for 4K 120Hz refresh rates and FreeSync Premium Pro.

Beyond performance, the set carries a sleek, near bezel-less design with clean cable management, and is backed by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty, professional installation, and priority service support.

According to Sam Odhiambo, Head of Consumer Electronics Business Kenya, the product is designed for discerning households, premium apartments, and commercial spaces. “We have designed this television for discerning Kenyan customers who seek something beyond the ordinary: premium craftsmanship, intelligent features, local support, and long-term value,” he said.

The new model enters the market at a time when Kenya’s appetite for streaming and smart technology is growing, fueled by faster internet and rising middle-income households. Samsung notes that buyers are increasingly looking for TVs that combine size with intelligence, durability, and smart-home integration.

The Samsung NEO QLED 100-inch AI TV is now available through authorised dealers and retail partners at a recommended retail price of KSh 699,000.
