In a bold declaration that has ignited fresh political energy in Kisauni Constituency, Mbarak Said Bashatir has officially announced his bid for the Member of Parliamentary seat, pledging to deliver a new era of inclusive leadership, unity, and sustainable development.
Speaking passionately about his deep roots in Kisauni, Bashatir emphasized that his candidacy is driven by both personal conviction and the urgent need for a new style of leadership that responds to the pressing challenges facing the community.
“I am a son of Kisauni — born, raised, and shaped by its joys and struggles. I have witnessed the good and the bad, the moments of pride and those of deep concern. It is time for courageous, honest, and compassionate leadership that puts the people first, and I am ready to provide it,” he said.
Bashatir, assured voters that his leadership would be anchored in integrity, patriotism, and wisdom, while championing fairness, peace, and unity among Kisauni residents.
He promised to integrate all religious and ethnic communities, ensuring that every citizen — regardless of background — has an equal stake in the constituency’s progress.

The aspiring legislator outlined an ambitious development agenda aimed at transforming Kisauni into a model constituency. His priorities including Infrastructure—Improving road networks to boost accessibility and trade.
“I am not only working towards improving the road networks but also healthcare where I will expand access to quality medical services for all residents. Education too where I will work on upgrading school facilities and ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities,” he said.
Bashatir, also singled out youth empowerment focusing on creating employment opportunities, nurturing talents, and investing in sports and creative industries. while at the same time face-lifting women and Persons with Disabilities by ensuring active participation in leadership and equitable access to opportunities.
“I will be an open and transparent leader, involving citizens in all decision-making processes, especially on public tenders and development projects,” Bashatir pledged.
