Kenyan companies will now access advanced cybersecurity and device management solutions at flexible costs following a new partnership between Samsung Electronics East Africa and financial technology firm Loop.

The collaboration will provide businesses with Samsung’s Knox platform, a unified system for endpoint security and management, designed to protect laptops, smartphones, tablets and rugged devices from cyber threats while streamlining IT operations.

Samsung said the Knox platform, which is built into Galaxy devices at the hardware level, offers deeper protection against malware and sophisticated threats than software-only security tools. It also features comprehensive device management, analytics and remote troubleshooting, while supporting multiple operating systems through a single dashboard.

“Modern businesses run on a fleet of diverse devices, and securing every single one is a necessity. The challenge has always been the high initial investment,” said Anthony Njihia, B2B Manager, Mobile eXperience Division at Samsung Electronics East Africa. “This partnership with Loop removes that barrier by offering built-in security software with a financial model that matches the operational realities of Kenyan businesses.”

Under the agreement, Loop will provide flexible financing options, including extended and seasonal payment schedules, enabling companies to treat technology adoption as a predictable operating expense rather than a heavy upfront cost.

Alex Kibera, Ecosystems Business at Loop, said the move is aimed at supporting firms to innovate and scale securely. “By financing a world-class solution like Samsung Knox, we are providing companies with the tools to innovate and compete securely,” he said.

The offering includes access to the full Knox portfolio—Knox Platform for Enterprise, Knox Mobile Enrolment, Knox Manage and Knox Asset Intelligence—bundled with comprehensive support from deployment to ongoing management.

The financing solutions are available immediately, targeting sectors such as logistics, retail and manufacturing where large-scale device deployment is critical.
