Citizen TV Swahili news anchors Lulu Hassan and Rashid Abdallah are dropping a new TV series, Ayana.
Ayana to premier on Monday October 6, 2025, at 7:30 pm officially replaces Neema series that has been running on Citizen TV since June, 2024.
Ayana, features some of the best talented actors and actresses with Brenda Wairimu being the main character in the series.
Other casts are Coastal content creator Beka Ruga, Dennis Musyoki, Alice Mbeyu, Perpetual among others.
Some of these talented actors and actresses have featured in the past Jiffy Pictures productions like Maria, Zora, Zari and Selina.
Some of these shows have been staged at the Maisha magic Swahili.
Ayana is a thrilling series that has been hyped on Citizen TV and fans are already eagerly waiting for the it’s premier. With drummed real actions, love, battle, family circle pressure among other life aspects.
Jiffy Pictures, a production company owned by the TV couple is behind local series like Maria, Zora, Selina, Becky and the almost ending Neema that has depicted love, hate, deceit, selflessness and heartless characters. Clearly dramatising what the real society looks like.
