Nairobi, Kenya, Sept, 25, 2025 – A new creative studio and events hub, Ultimate City, has officially launched in Nairobi, offering a platform for film, podcasts, showcases, and youth-driven conversations. Located at 209 State House Road, the space aims to bring together emerging and established creators while strengthening Kenya’s fast-growing creative economy.

The hub will host film screenings and premieres, live podcast recordings, fashion and art showcases, music performances, photography exhibitions, and panel discussions on youth culture, entrepreneurship, and digital trends. It will also provide workshops and masterclasses in film, photography, content creation, and music production.

“Our goal is to create a space where ideas are shared, stories are told, and new projects can come to life. Nairobi has an incredible pool of talent, and Ultimate City is here to provide both the platform and the support,” said Dan Aceda, CEO and Founder of Ultimate City.

In addition to offering a venue for external collaborations, Ultimate City has already begun producing in-house shows spotlighting Kenyan creatives and conversations on youth culture and entrepreneurship.

The hub also plans to host networking events and product launches, connecting creatives, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals. Bookings and partnerships are now open.

Nairobi’s Creative Rise

The launch comes at a time when Nairobi is increasingly recognized as a creative capital in Africa, with its vibrant film, music, fashion, and digital industries gaining international visibility. The city has produced award-winning filmmakers, chart-topping musicians, and globally acclaimed fashion designers, while digital content creators continue to shape conversations across the continent.

Industry observers say spaces like Ultimate City could help consolidate this momentum by offering both infrastructure and community for artists and entrepreneurs. Kenya’s creative sector is estimated to employ hundreds of thousands of young people, and analysts note its potential to become one of the country’s biggest economic drivers if adequately supported.
