Radio personality Robert Matano, famously known as Robby Dallaz has finally called it a day at MoRadio.
Dallaz well known for his calculated ways of recruiting the youthful audience to his show did not immediately announce his next destination, however, he posted “See you soon”
The father of one, sharpened his broadcasting career at Coast -based Independent Mijikenda radio station, Radio Kaya, where he hosted a youthful midmorning entertainment show ‘Kaya Flavaz’ alongside Caroline Mkamburi.
The duo was rumoured to be extremely ‘tight couple’ madly in love and who later in 2024 exited Radio Kaya. Robby and Mkamburi joined MoRadio, a Coast based urban radio station linked to Nyali MP Mohammed Ali.
They hosted the midmorning youthful show ‘MoRadio Midmorning’ from 11am to 2pm.
However, Mkamburi did not last at MoRadio as she worked for less than three months before jumping off the Mohammed Ali owned wagon to Mediamax Limited owned national radio station, Milele FM, leaving Robby Dallaz alone and lonely in the show.
After some few months, Mkamburi posted that she is very much single, a very brief but strong post that elicited mixed reactions among her followers and those of his ‘husband to be’ Robby Dallaz.
It has been rumoured that the multi-talented radio presenter has been making several trips to Nairobi, traversing the Kenya’s Capital for a greener pasture.
Several Coast regional radio station have been yearning for the dedicated radio presenter who does his best when it comes to engaging youthful audience on air.
Dallaz has also been working closely with local artists and music producers from as far as Nairobi, Tanzania and the entire Coast region, making his mid-morning show, the most listened in the Coast region.
So, where to next? Is Dallaz still landing in a different Coast-based radio station or knocking the Capital City doors? Only time will tell.
