The Hub Karen has officially announced the grand prize winner of its Shop and Win Campaign, which took place from November 30, 2024, to January 19, 2025.

Lucy Chege claimed the top prize and will enjoy an extravagant five-day family vacation in Mauritius alongside three companions. The all-expenses-paid trip includes full-board accommodation, exclusive island tours, and return flights. Sharon Grace, the second-place winner, has been awarded a two-night getaway for two in Zanzibar, while Kelly Wairimu Davis, who secured third place, received a Ksh. 150,000 shopping vouchers redeemable at any outlet within The Hub Karen.

During the prize-giving ceremony, Jacobus Visser, The Hub Karen’s Mall Manager, thanked the winners and all participants.

He remarked, “Congratulations to Lucy, Sharon, and Kelly on their well-deserved wins. We deeply appreciate their loyalty and choice of The Hub Karen as their preferred shopping destination. This campaign was our way of giving back to our customers for their continued support during the festive season, and we look forward to creating even more memorable experiences for them.”

The festive-season campaign attracted thousands of entries, with shoppers simply needing to purchase a minimum of Ksh. 2,500 at any store within The Hub Karen to participate.

As part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing the shopping experience, The Hub Karen has recently welcomed two new international brands—Natural Lamu, a global skincare brand, and Mini Town Team, a renowned Egyptian baby and children’s fashion brand. These additions contribute to the mall’s already diverse portfolio of over 85 international brands, solidifying its status as a premier shopping and lifestyle destination in Nairobi.

Welcoming the new tenants, Visser expressed optimism about their impact, stating, “The arrival of these brands will not only boost our weekly foot traffic but also expand the variety of premium products available, catering to the diverse tastes and aspirations of our customers.”

The Hub Karen continues to be a leading family entertainment and lifestyle mall in Nairobi, boasting Kenya’s largest indoor family entertainment centre, The Hub Park.
