People’s Liberation Party Leader Martha Karua has trashed ODM Leader Raila Odinga’s defense that he is not in President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.
According to Karua, Raila carried Kenyans high hopes of deliberating the country, ensuring justice prevail for all, however, the same person who scoffed at the Kenyan Kwanza regime is now fully into it.
The PLP Leaders thrashed Raila’s defense that he is not party of Ruto’s government, stating that Raila is now openly deputising President Ruto.
Raila has been receiving High Commissioners and Special Envoys visiting the country and leading the way at State House, roles which were supposedly the task of the President himself or his Deputy Professor Kithure Kindiki.
Recently, Raila went to South Sudan to engage the fighting factions in a bid to broker peace to the volatile Africa nation.
“All Kenyans can see whats going on in this country. Do you think you can fool Kenyans that Ruto followed you and not you who followed Ruto? So what’s the difference in such a phrase?” said Karua.
Karua who was Raila’s running mate in the 2022 Presidential race which was marred by wrangles, confusion and alleged malpractices, as recently laid bare by Media Mogul S.K Macharia, has stated that Raila is part and parcel of Ruto’s government urging Kenyans to cease putting high hopes on him in the future elections.

“Even if you have decided to be part of the government that is openly oppressing Kenyans, please formalise it with your master and do the right thing. Please follow the law and ensure justice to all,” Karua reiterated.
Karua has been working with other politicians to form the country’s opposition that has been for the last two years distabilised.
Karua has been working with Former Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua, Wiper Party Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka among other Jubilee politicians in a bid to chat the political way in preparation for the 2027 general polls.
However, Odinga has been defending himself saying he is not in President Ruto’s government.
According to Raila, it is President Ruto who approached him after realising that his Kenya Kwanza government was crumbling that is why Raila offered to working with him.
“I agreed to work with my Brother William Ruto, however on conditions that I will continue putting the government on check while within,” said Raila recently after hitting a big miss at the African Union (AU) Chairman position.
Raila ‘swallows’ Ruto
Raila was offered Cabinet Secretary positions and recently more powers in both National Assembly and the Senate.
In the recent reorganisation of the Broad-Based government, Raila swallowed Ruto with more Principal Secretary positions, in Ruto’s government.
The youthful generation famously known as Gen-Z have termed Raila as an opportunist who only fights for his selfish interests and not Kenyan’s welfare.
The Gen-Z have rubbished Raila’s defense tearing him apart over his recent political union with President Ruto.
The Kenyan youthful generation have vowed to teach the two a ‘political lesson’ in the 2027 general elections.
