Caroline Mkamburi, well known for her unique ways of engaging her audience during Kaya Flavaz, an entertainment youthful show that airs from 9am-1pm, and plays the new generation music, is set to join a youthful urban radio station MORadio, owned by Nyali MP Mohammed Ali.

Mkamburi has been doing the mid-morning show alongside Robby Dallaz (Robert Matano), and for the last 4 years The Radio queen has called the Kwale- based independent Mijikenda Radio station, home.

However, unconfirmed reports indicate that the radio personality tendered her resignation and in fact, over the weekend, she bid farewell to her colleagues at Radio Kaya.

Mkamburi who has invested in uplifting the young upcoming coastal artists (Chipkizi) earning her the Name (Malkia wa Chipkizi-Queen of upcoming artists) thanked Radio kaya management for offering her the opportunity where she nurtured her continuity broadcasting skills, as well as her workmates for backing her journalistic career practice.

The talented radio presenter is set to join the MORadio wagon beginning May, 2024.

Apart from hosting Kaya Flavaz show, Mkamburi also presented the Kali Zetu show on Saturday alongside Jonathan Lui (Captain Lui). Kali Zetu youth show revolves around playing the most listened songs in Kaya Flavaz in a county down style.

The radio journalist has also played a great role in the newsroom doing radio features, hosting business news segment and being part of the vibrant Radio kaya Social media team.

Her workmates wished her well in her future endeavours.

At MORadio, the staff were also briefed of a new entrance to the station, in a recent meeting.

The station has been operating in Bombolulu areas, but was recently moved to new offices and flashy studios in Nyali. It seems the journey to rebrand the station is just but getting started.

Rumours indicate that MORadio management has raided various radio stations in the Coast region and is in the process of even scouting for more, with a single objective of beating the stiff competition in the radio sector.
