
President William Ruto will on Sunday evening engage Mombasa residents in a Town hall forum.
The forum that kicks off from 7:30 pm tonight will be televised live across all National Televisions, radio stations and various digital platforms.
The forum scheduled to take place at the Kenya School of Government (KSG), Kizingo, Mombasa aims at giving President Ruto platform to explain to the public, Kenya Kwanza achievements.
Ruto is also expected to use the platform to discuss the importance of the broad-based approach in leadership, that has received a backlash from Kenyans.
The President will also respond to questions and various aspects from the public that needs his direct clarification.
On Sunday while touring Taita Taveta County, President Ruto announced that Kenyans will get their passports within a week.
“Will will pay for flight tickets for Kenyans who successfully secured jobs abroad so apply for those jobs,” stated the President.
Ruto has been in a four day tour in Coast region since Thursday where he received a warm heroic welcome from mombasa residents and mostly ODM supporters after he nominated former Mombasa Governor and ODM Deputy Party Leader Ali Hassan Joho to head the Mining Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs Ministry.
President Ruto toured Kilifi County on Friday and later on Saturday he traversed the entire Kwale County.
On Sunday Ruto toured Taita Taveta County where he launched various development projects.
The Head of State is expected to tour Tana River and Lamu Counties on Monday before he goes back to Nairobi.
The President has for the past three days defended his inclusion of the opposition in his new cabinet saying the move will unite the nation.
“I took this step so that we make an all inclusive broad-based government. It is a cabinet of peace,” said Ruto in his earlier public address.
