The Roots Party of Kenya Leader, George Luchiri Wajackoya has rubbished Kenya MPs saying they do not know their mandate at the National Assembly.
Wajackoya who was among the Presidential candidates in the 2022 General elections expressed his dissatisfaction with the manner in which the Legislatures have conducted themselves since the August, 2022 general polls.
He said the MPs have turned to be political brokers at the Parliament, serving their gluttonness, completely forgetting their critical role of face-lifting the lives of Kenyans.
Wajackoya, well known for his love of reggae music and advancing for the use of Cannabis sativa for medicinal values, noted that Kenyans should not bank on any of the current Members of Parliament since they have already been banked by President William Ruto.
Wajackoya expressed his pitty with the MPs adding that the Legislatures should be sent home come 2027 General elections.
“I laud the Gen-Z for taking a bold step in propagating for proper governance in the country. However, they should relentlessly prepare to oust all MPs come 2027 General election,” said Wajackoya.
The politician cum Lawyer noted that when a representative forgets their critical mandate to change the lives of their electorates and advance their rights, then there is no business retaining them in any leadership position.
He urged the youth to dialogue, discuss, deliberate and chat the way forward so that they take over the country’s leadership.
“By preparing for the 2027 he election is the way to go. You can’t block what it’s time has come. The time for our youth take the country’s leadership is now,” said the Roots Party Leader.
He urged the Gen-Z to remain focused and avoid any destructive opinions from politicians.
Meanwhile, Wajackoya has rubbished Kenya’s political parties, saying they are only there to serve individuals and not the the Kenya’s populace.
“Political parties are in simple terms business enterprises that’s why MPs can be lured with money to support a retrogressive Finance Bill,” he stated.
