The late renowned Investor Hasmukh Patel Bhai will be cremated on Sunday under the Hindu religious rituals.
According to the family, already two of his children who have been managing his Uganda cement plant, Tororo Cement arrived in Mombasa on Thursday evening, accelerating plans to give the fallen humanitarian a befitting send off.
The family further indicated that some political leaders led by Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka will grace a special mourning session on Saturday at Hasuu’s home in Mombasa County, to remember the fallen philanthropist.
Kalonzo mourned Hasuu as a selfless humanitarian who always found happiness in serving the less fortunate in the society.
“His service for humanity has been witnessed by all communities countrywide and specifically in the Coast region where he fed the needy and paid school fees for children from humble backgrounds,” said Kalonzo.
President William Ruto is also planning to grace another special tribute session to remember the late selfless humanitarian Icon Hasmukh Patel Bhai famously known as Hasuu by communities.
President Ruto will together with local leaders from the Coast and from his Cabinet grace the session on Sunday before the body of the late Hasuu is cremated.
The late philanthropist body will be cremated at the Buxton Hindu crematorium on Sunday according to family.
Hasmukh Patel Bhai, well known for his humane gesture is the cornerstone of the Nyumba Group of Companies.
The chain of companies range from Mombasa Cement, Tororo Cement, Nyumba Colour Coat among a list of other companies operating in the East African countries.
Patel breathed his last while undergoing urgent treatment at the Premier Hospital, in Nyali Mombasa on Thursday midday.
Hasuu as mostly referred to by his vast dependents in the entire Coast region has found his solace in serving the needy in the society.
He is well known for feeding the poor, paying school fees for needy students, footing hospital bills for the less fortunate and at the bottom of his heart, he had the love for environment that triggered the Mombasa Beautification project that is also conducted in Kilifi county mostly Malindi areas.
