An official working at the Kwale law court was on Saturday found dead in a swimming pool in Kwale.
The body of the Judicial officer, Justus Makau was found at a swimming pool at the lavish Kimerimeta hotel in Kwale town.
Kimerimeta hotel is owned by former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
It is reported that Makau was drunk when he plunged into the swimming pool struggling to swim but he couldn’t manage the waters.
Other people who were making merry at the facility struggled to rescue Makau but their efforts proved futile, he breathed his last.
However, Kwale police did not immediately establish the cause of the death.
Investigations to establish the cause of Makau’s death are underway.
The body of the deceased was taken Kwale County hospital.
