Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) has been thrown into mourning after its Founder Bishop Allan Kiuna took the last bow.

Bishop Kiuna is said to have breathed his last at a Nairobi hospital while under urgent treatment on Tuesday, 9, 2024.

Bishop Kiuna, known for his dynamic sermons and transformative leadership, passed away after years of struggle with cancer.

The Clergyman was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in 2018, after which he went public about his condition. Multiple myeloma is a cancer caused by abnormal plasma cells that build up in the bone marrow and form tumors in the bones.

He was a Senior pastor and the Co-founder of Jubilee Christian Church in Nairobi.

He leaves his almost 30-year old marriage partner Bishop Kathy Kiuna.

Attributes

Bishop Allan Kiuna was one of his kind, engaging in relevant up to date conversations and debates on theology, spiritual matters and politics.

His deep faith and love for God was evident. He loved people, and unending urge of pursuing knowledge and understanding of issues both spiritual and contemporary, made him a celebrated religious Icon and humane character.

Bishop Kiuna went deep in prayers during the August, 2022 General elections and during the heated atmosphere at the Bomas, during the Presidential results announcement and when the country was almost shaken and through to the Supreme court battle.

He always prayed for the youthful generation and at the JCC Church both in Nairobi and in Mombasa. He led special prayers, meditation and teachings targeting the young generation who remained at the bottom of his heart. He urged the youth to remain focused, prayerful and build their future within the Lord.

Bishop Allan and his Wife Reverend Kathy Kiuna launched the feeding program targeting the less fortunate and street families in Mombasa. The program saw most street children being reformed and transformed to become youth leaders and vocalists right at the JCC Mombasa church.

Kenyans continue mourning Bishop Allan Kiuna most posting on their social media handles “The Lord has taken to himself his servant. A wonderful man has left us. Go well Bishop Allan, may the Angels lead you home, into eternal glory, painful,”
