Dabaso residents in Malindi, Kilifi County are mourning their local Administrator who was involved in a tragic road accident on Saturday.
Maitha Baya died on the spot at Msabaha area following the road carnage.
Among those who mourned him are Kilifi Governor Gideon Mung’aro who termed Baya as a critical society guider and a man who championed for education for all the children in his Dabaso location.
“We have lost a selfless administrator who always pushed for development projects to his people. He was my focal person in that area,” said Governor Mung’aro.
Mung’aro further urged motorists to be very careful while on the road to safeguard their lives and that of their passengers and other road users too.
