Renowned comedian and Content creator Dr Kokoro has finally landed at the Kilifi based radio station, Coco FM.
In a video that circulated on social media, Dr Kokoro also widely known as Nyanya Rukia is seen arriving at the station and being interviewed by one of the Coco FM presenters, Rubby Kache.
The Content creator will join Joseph Marwa and Anita Santuri on the Coco FM breakfast show, Coco Asubuhi from Monday to Friday, 6-10 am.
“I promise my fans in the region and beyond nothing but the very best show at Coco FM. It feels so good to be back on the radio,” said Nyanya Rukia.
The award winner stand up comedian sharpened his entertainment career at Baraka FM some years back where he later left the station to concentrate on his acting career.
He has been a darling to many on his Nyanya Rukia show on Maisha Magic East, receiving major reception from both the East African countries and beyond, following his witty story telling and creativity.
Kokoro also known as Nyanya Rukia acts as a stubborn and canning grandmother who always meddle in other people’s affairs.
Fahamu Kazungu (real name) won two top Kalasha Awards back in 2019, following his entertaining Swahili dramas including the Mazagazaga show among other TV programmes aired in different channels, including KTN.
Kazungu is also a top radio personality and joining the Coco FM wagon adds more flavour to the already well received Talk, News and Entertainment Coast based radio station.
Among top names in the media industry who have since joined Coco FM are Kassim Mbui and Zulekha who worked at Radio Maisha, the two will work with Content creator Rubby Kache in the mid morning Janjaruka show.
While radio personality Sister Shirneez (Mgeni Shaban) real name is pairing up with Comedian Kura Tsuma famously known as Kalambua (Kura Tsuma) on the Coco Drive show.
