Veteran rapper Jackson Makini famously known as Prezzo has cleared the air after he collapsed during the launch of Bahati’s Empire, reality show on Netflix.
CMB Prezzo was on stage when he collapsed shocking the attendees who included Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
At the high profile successful event, Singer Bahati had invited big names to attend the launch of his reality show which will run on Netflix.
In a video that circulated on social media, some men are seen helping ‘Mr President’ who collapsed on the red carpet and was rushed to hospital.
Prezzo has come out assuring his fans that he is doing well health-wise.
“Contrary to the news going around on social media about my health and red carpet incident, I’d like to let everyone know that I am well. I have been working myself hence the fatigue,” Prezzo wrote on his Instagram page.
Perhaps an assurance that was much awaited by his vast fans.
“I thank you all for your calls, well wishes and concerns. For now I just want to take some time out nitulie na familia (meaning…I rest relax with family),” he further stated.
Prezzo cited fatigue brought about by overworking, dehydration, some underlying factors among them low blood sugar that led to the unfortunate incident.
He however assured his fans that he is doing well and they should not worry about him at all, expressing his gratitude for the love, support and caring he received from his fans.
Prezzo was a household name in the Kenya’s entertainment industry in early 2000.
He congratulated Bahati for the heavy event and the reality show, saying it was well planned, a sign that Kenya got talent and that the entertainment scene in the country is very much alive.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua revealed that the government is dedicated in support Kenya’s entertainment industry.
